In the second lap there were four riders in the breakaway, Belgians took the sprint, however the peloton did not let them to have big advantage, they stayed close to the leaders.

Just 20km before the finish line Viktor Filutás was on the screens again, at the end of the peloton - with four other riders - he was involved in a crash, with a painful face he could stand up and go after the peloton. Finally, he caught the bunch.

When it came to the stage-victory, the peloton changed the speed and breakaway, who were leading the race today for 190km, was caught.

The finish and sprint were controlled by the big teams, at the end of the huge speed race Dutch Olav Kooij and Italy's track Olympic champion, Elia Viviani were fighting for the victory, then the 20-year-old rising star of Jumbo-Visma, Olav Kooij won the stage.
